What is the retail experience?
The retail experience is the total experience a customer has before, during and after they visit a retail establishment.
Retail restaurants, venues, and many kinds of shops work very hard to create a unique and enjoyable experience in sights, sounds, smells and interactions with staff while customers are in their space, as well as create products for purchase. Though these elements of retail service and expression are what make them successful, their customers' experience can be blunted, even damaged, by things that is often out of their control, like a customer's parking experience.
CYCLE's format brings parking to bear in this experience by crafting a tech product capable of more than finding open parking. We design our parking format to make parking for the specific needs of retail patrons better, and weave the value we create into the improvement of the overall retail experience.
Greater Parking Access = No Cost to Retailers
CYCLE’s model for partnership with retail businesses never charges retail partners to operate in their lots. Never.
Organic demand for retail during heavy parking hours drives both sides of CYCLE’s parking transactions across business hours. The repeatable transactions of value for parking access within a CYCLE lot, qualified for paying customers, multiplies the efficiency of parking access & money spent by customers during business hours.
This simple model below demonstrates the transaction which occurs in every completed parking trade in a retail business' CYCLE Lot. The exiting customer makes certain the arriving customer parks in their spot within a 10 minute time-frame in order to validate their earned credit. Both are motivated by retail-based incentives (access & value).
By design, CYCLE lots generate more customers with more money, more often than any free customer lot or valet-managed lot can.
Who Partners with CYCLE
CYCLE goes where it's needed the most. To Qualify for CYCLE, Retail partners need to have the following:
Property Demand & Utility - Our partners are qualified by our process of evaluating a property's patterns of demand, overall parking stress, turnover and other factors to make certain our system could add value to the property's parking needs.
Customer Parking Lot - Must have ownership permission for the equipping & signage to be installed into at least 10 parking spaces adjacent to the retail business building. These must be open to the public for parking, and can't be concurrently managed by valet. CYCLE installs signature green wheelstops embedded with wireless sensors & LED indicator lights, a 5'' X 7'' reflective number on the bottom of each stripe, and one parking sign with the CYCLE logo.
Point-of-Sale Promotional / Gift Codes - Coordinate with CYCLE staff to upload / input / generate promotional codes or gift codes which CYCLE can produce for for payment of retail credit to customers through the App. Then arrange for CYCLE to be charged for each redeemed code we generate.
